Abdelaziz Alhanaee

Abdelaziz Alhanaee is an Emirati advocate with 25 years of legal experience and rights of audience before all levels of the UAE Courts. He is also a registered Part II Practitioner before the DIFC Courts, with limited rights of audience.

He is also a registered Part II Practitioner before the DIFC Courts, with limited rights of audience.

His principal area of practice is litigation, with a particular focus on commercial and civil disputes. He represents companies, investors, business owners and individuals in substantial and complex matters before the UAE Courts.

His experience includes contractual and financial claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, real estate and construction disputes, commercial agency disputes, debt recovery and enforcement proceedings, and business-related criminal matters arising from commercial and financial relationships.

Abdelaziz also has arbitration experience and has acted as counsel, sole arbitrator, and co-arbitrator in domestic and international proceedings, including matters conducted under the DIAC and ICC Rules.

Before establishing Abdelaziz Alhanaee Advocates & Legal Consultancy, he served as Partner and Head of Litigation at a major UAE law firm. Earlier in his career, he spent seven years with the UAE Ministry of Interior.
